Good message. It’s funny – whenever I hear messages about tithing or money I’m usually turned off, but this time around – I was convicted and needed to hear it. The reason it’s funny is hearing about being giving and generous when it helps you become the person you want to be vs. when it’s something you have to do to be morally good or right presents it in two totally different ways. Even though their heading towards the same basic idea, one makes you feel like this is something you want to attain, yet the other makes you focus on the fact that you’ve been a bad person.
This is a really good message and it should be noted that it isn’t just about tithing and money, so even if you don’t make any money or you’re super good about tithing and everything, I still recommend it. I’d tell you what else it talks about, but you might as well just listen to it and hear it for yourself.
Actually I listened to it immediately after listening to this on evangelism:

Perhaps it sounds odd, but I think they have a lot to do with each other.
