Missions Not Impossible!

Mayaun Hapon Amigos! Ako Nagbeesita Iloilo City, Philippines kag namian ako diri!

Translation–> Good Afternoon Friends. I am visting Iloilo City, Philippines and i like it here! =) We spent 2 weeks of learning the local dialect of Ilonggo. It’s been fun times.. =)

Im starting my 5th week here in the Philippines and God is really doing some awesome things. I still cannot believe that I’m even here. God’s purpose in my life is finally happening.. I encourage all of you to seek the Lord in the plans He has for your life. God called me to serve Him in missions a few years back, and honestly I never knew how that was going to happen.. But I am a living testimony of what God can do when you follow HIS plan! I never would have thought that I would be sitting in the Philippines rite now and serving the Lord in missions. The first 2 weeks here we spent a lot of time just getting ourselves familiar with the culture, the lifestyle, and the day-to-day ways of life. We’ve had plenty of opportunities to minister. I was able to share my testimony and sing at a Youth Event at the local church we’ve been partnering with. We also had the opportunity to minister at a male prison. It’s something that I never experienced before. It was definitely a moment of stretching. I never would have saw myself to do something like that, but God is really opening doors for my team. Please continue to keep us in prayer.

God is really making moves here and I’m really beginning to love the people of the Philippines.

I’ll be sure to update you all as the weeks progress.
