QCOG is a church with a heart for people and a vision to satisfy the needs of the growing community. Our mission is global, extending far beyond the walls of our building. After all, when Christ was on this earth, His time and energy were spent on meeting the needs of people of all walks of life. We are interested first in their eternal destiny and then in their relationship and their joy in sharing Christ with others. The Family of God is the most spiritually enriching and uplifting relationship on earth.

We created this blog to offer a unique platform directed at the youth of our church, but open to everyone else (we love you too!), to see how God shapes the lives of people devoted to Him. We chose individuals with different perspectives who share in the common thread of being former or current members of QCOG. By reading their posts and sharing in their experiences, we hope it inspires all of us to adjust our focus of the world through a “God lens” and allow that to transform our lives. Our prayer is that through the blog, Christ teaches us to not look upon this life through our physical eyes; instead to see all the possibilities available to us if we take the first step of faith.

With that in mind, we also expect to have guest bloggers and invite you to to share with us in order to edify our community of readers. There is as much to learn from our failures as our successes in this spiritual journey and our goal is to create a safe environment where we can openly share our thoughts and opinions while uplifting one another. We will be posting sermons, updates on activities, and church happenings; along with things you recommend or would like to see. We desire discussion and strongly support comments and questions. This should be an interactive experience and we encourage active participation. Please provide us with feedback or ideas so that we can continually improve your experience with the site.
